A little like a builder not quite getting round to his own extension, after 18 months of Elan Media Solutions providing answers for clients, we’ve now launched our own website, and thanks to Epic Design for doing a great job.

In the 18 months since we launched the business we’ve worked with a number of clients, of different sizes and in various sectors. All have brought different challenges and the website features a few of those as case studies.

Houzz is the world’s leading online resource for home renovation and design. They came to us needing video content filmed, produced and edited in a certain way and I’m delighted that we’ve been able to deliver for them to a high standard. We’ve now produced other work for them in e-marketing video production, for their UK market and also French and German. We’re already looking forward to doing more.

World Rugby is the global governing body for the game of rugby and in 2016 had a huge milestone when sevens made its Olympic debut. They needed to make a big splash in digital and social media and we worked with them to formulate a content plan to power all of that. When the results came back via Nielsen they showed that, for the duration of the games in key selected markets, World Rugby’s content achieved more social media engagement than the rest of the sports combined and was nominated for awards. A lot of that was down to the incredible athletes and stories but we’ll take a little bit of the credit.

The Bull at Burford is a small, family-run hotel in the Cotswolds. The owner doesn’t understand too much about websites, online marketing and social media – why should he, he’s a hotelier ? – so for a modest retainer we take care of the content for him. We’ve already grown the social media following by 400% and over time the plan is to make the business less reliant on the big booking engines and drive more direct sales.

We have other smaller business clients for whom we’ve found an affordable monthly retainer model and it seems to work well.

I hope you like the new website – if anything jumps out at you or doesn’t work either on a PC or a mobile please get in touch via the contact page, otherwise we look forward to hearing from you about marketing your business with Elan.
